The more serious framers work primarily with artists, this is common in art rich communities. Often an artist will find that a certain picture framer knows the perfect last ingredient to their work, therefore exclusively allowing that framer to be a part of the formula. For some in the field of picture framing, their work is pride and pure creation. Some make the actual frames custom for each customer, created specifically on the inspiration from the piece to be framed.
